Android Smartphone Tips: Even though Android smartphone comes cheaper than iPhone, but the security in it is not as much as iPhone. Actually, Android smartphone is an open source network in which hackers can break into. If you are an Android smartphone user, then take special care of your mobile settings because a wrong permission can invite hackers or scammers. Today we are going to tell you about five such settings of Android smartphone which you should always keep turned off so that your privacy remains intact and data is not leaked.
Do not keep these settings on
Location History: Do not keep the option of location history on because Google keeps an eye on where you are going and what you are doing. Accordingly, it then shows you information about ad, hotels, clubs and shopping malls. To turn off Location History, go to the Settings of the Android smartphone and then go to the ‘Data and Privacy’ section by coming to the Google Account and Manage Account option in it. Here if location history is on then turn it off immediately
Near By Device: If you have turned on the ‘Near by Device’ setting, then turn it off as well, as anyone can connect with your smartphone and it can also be hacked.
Lock Screen Notification: If you do not want anyone else to read your messages or emails, then keep the notifications hidden on the lockscreen. This will mean that whenever you get a message or mail alert, no one will be able to see the content on the lockscreen. To hide the notification, go to the notification and status bar inside the setting and then click on the lockscreen and turn on the option of hide notification. In mobile, you will get this in the name of do not show.
